I have been with American Express for only a short month. I have some problems with their credit card. Sometimes I even think to myself why in the first place I file for an application of their card. And I did because it is just easy to apply and quick to earn points.

I would not want you to go through to all the problems that this card has brought me. One of my first purchases was at Wal-Mart. There was a long ling behind me and the card would not go through. I was embarrassed, who wouldn’t be? The cashier had to call American Express while everyone gave me dirty looks.

The second was when I made a hospital visit to settle my hospital bill. It was a significant charge of about $4,600. I had to call American Express beforehand to let them know so there would be no problems. The lady swipes the card and of course, it does not go through. I had to stand there on my mobile phone for 30 minutes before American Express got things straightened out and the transaction goes through.
